The mechanical CX-5 disc brake by Hayes is specifically designed for cyclocross riding and compatible with all standard road bike brake levers available on the market.
 
As it comes with the post mount standard, the brake may be installed on both front and rear wheel.
 
The proper disc rotor with a diameter of 140mm or 160mm is already supplied with the CX-5.
